Hello! My name is June Shillito and I grew up in the UK. I have worked with young children since 1991. I started as a substitute teacher at my son's preschool and loved it! In my free time I enjoy reading and playing with my grandchildren.

 

Something important for parents to know about me is that my office door is always open! One of my favorite things about teaching is seeing children grow and develop, the laughter and smiles you see each day, and when a child has an "Ah-ha!" moment.

 

My favorite children's book is Leo the Late Bloomer. My favorite activity in the classroom is messy play. My favorite children's song is "We're On the Way to Grandpa's Farm." My favorite scripture is 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. "Love is patient, love is kind..."
